Has anyone upgraded their factory halogen headlights to the Ford OEM HID headlights? Just got a '14 Lariat and would really like to make this upgrade.

No but interested to know the same thing. Paid off my 2010 FX4 last year and really need to do some upgrades to keep me from buying a new truck. Added wheels last November so other stuff is on my "to do" list. Will keep watching.

If you really want to see better you have to alter the headlight housing, projector beam for the low beams and LED for the high beams. You could just put HID bulbs in the factory housings and have blue headlights that cast shadows and blind oncoming traffic.....
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

Yes, changing the entire factory housing is a must in order to actually get the actual benefit of the better lights. I looked at just adding HID bulbs and that does more harm than good.
Trying to see if someone has actually done the switch and would like their thoughts as to if it was worth it?
