Texas Hog Hunters Association started a petition to stop the states hog poisoning program. Too many questions and little trust that there won't be unintended consequences.

Pig hunting is the fastest growing hunting sport and great source of food for many people ,allowing poisoning of this animal could cause significant chain reactions for humans and wildlife not just the pigs

Signed. And as a Scientist the thought of large scale poisons getting into the natural environment (including the water tables as this leaches from the bait and seeps through) is frightening. Very undersighted by anyone who thought of this.
