Does anybody hunt around Mt Calm area? Was curious as to the game situation...

Thanks in advance!

I had a property in Mt Calm about 7 years ago.
Put out a trail cam and feeder, had a nice mature buck, a couple of doe and a young buck after being out a few weeks. My property had nice water and creeks with plenty of timber.
Dove hunting seemed good
Never had any hogs on camera although I know areas close have many.
Had deer but so few, when I hunted I never actually saw any in person but would get an occasional deer on trail cam. You would think with so much farm land in the area, it would be great hunting but it is not.

Unfortunately I would give the area a thumbs down for deer hunting at least if you are a recreational hunter.

I would rank it very low as a hunting area for anything other than doves.

Are you looking to buy or just a hunting lease?
