To get stuck in the varmint cage......more than once. Apparently they figured out how to get in and eventually get out over and over again. How insulting just laying on his back spinning that feeder plate.   Well, I ended the party for at least one of them this past weekend with the dukes traps.

I've found that the Duke's traps tend to make them a bit cranky.

I've found that the Duke's traps tend to make them a bit cranky. That coon was trying to get his face into another trap and grab the marshmallow when I showed up. Greedy little bandits......

I just ordered 10 of the Duke DP coon traps. I got tired of seeing them free load on all our cameras. Should be an interesting year.

Have you tried putting a slinky on each of those feeder legs?
coffee spelled backwards is eeffoc. I don't give eeffoc until I have my morning coffee.

We only have two of those poly feeders left, other ones nothing can get at. Replacing this one this spring so it will be a non issue.
