Anyone have a spread sheet used for documenting your guns etc. that you might be willing to share? I need to up grade from the old spiral notebook..lol

Spread sheets are not my thing, excel gives me a freaking head ache..lol

Just open Excel and type the title in the first row of each column. I have gun, SN, Scope, Accessories, Etc. Or I can email you one for a nominal fee.

I have 4 columns on mine. One for Manufacturer, one for model, one for caliber, and one for serial number. I also have a folder on my computer for each gun and have at least 2-3 pictures of it to show features (which stock, heavy barrel or not, target sights, scope, stainless/blued, etc.).

I put as many columns as necessary for all details even the year, amount paid, type of accessories (scope name, style, lights, mags, scope rings, etc)

All good Ideas above. If you take pics for the Computer File, be sure to get a legible closeup of the SR # and any other prominent ID'able features.
