2 spots available in NW Edwards County (roughly equal distance South of Sonora and West of Rocksprings)

• 3,371 acres
• 9 total spots (375 acres per spot)
• $4,495 base cost ($12 acre) - 2 payments – January and June
• Utilities to include satellite TV and insurance run approx $250 extra per person
• Year-round access
• Terrain consists of moderate elevation changes with oak and cedar, some mesquite in the flat country.
• Whitetail: 1 trophy (4.5+ yrs old), 1 cull (approved by lease boss), 2 doe
• Turkey: 2 per spot
• Exotics: Extra fee - some axis and an occasional aoudad (current fee for axis trophy is $1,500)
• Hogs: Very few but shoot if seen
• Predators: Very few but shoot if seen
• Fully furnished 3 bedroom, 1 bath house with full kitchen and extra refrigerators and freezers. Rock patio with BBQ pits.
• Feed storage bin (We will seasonally purchase pallets of corn as a group)
• Cleaning station with concrete pad, winches, water and lighting
• Each paid spot will have a designated primary hunting location strategically placed to keep deer overlap to a minimum. The group also maintains 3 community spots available for everyone to enjoy.
• All blinds, feeders and feed pens are currently in place but you are welcome to provide your own equipment.
• Family and Guests: Allowed with coordination due to space limitations. Since we currently have an all-male camp, this is not a good fit for someone wanting to bring their wife during the general hunting season. All family/guests must be accompanied by the paid member, shoot off their allotment, and abide by our management program.
• October bow hunting is currently not allowed due to owner working livestock. You are still allowed access to feed, scout, etc.
• Currently only cows on property, no goats or sheep.
• No dove hunting allowed
• No dogs allowed
• ATV/UTV’s not needed but are okay as long as they stay on the roads. Property is accessible by 2 wheel drive the majority of the time.
• No oilfield traffic
• This will be our 7th year and we’ve put in a lot of work getting the ranch in great condition. Our trophies typically score between 125-140 with our largest at 146 taken this past season.
• We are conservative on our cull policy. We prefer to allow as many bucks to reach maturity as possible. We don’t shoot any young bucks, to include spikes, as culls.

We are looking for management minded hunters who are willing to put the quality of the herd ahead of filling tags. Our group is currently located in Boerne, San Antonio and Pearland and range in ages from early 40's to 70's. We are an easy going group that enjoys the experience as much as the results.

Please consider all of the above before responding. If this sounds like the type of lease that you'd like to be part of, please send a PM with some general information about yourself and a contact number. We will set up some time to speak with you to learn about what you are looking for and share more about our hunting lease.
