36 and no wind...perfect conditions.
Had 6 doe out early and then Mr. Pig showed up so I smoked him. 4 of the does weren't bothered at all by the shot but the other 2 snorted and carried on for 15 minutes eyeballing the dead pig and then finally left with the other 4 in tow.
Interesting people these deer are! Now we wait for the next round.

Update - 2 dogs and a hog! There was a pair earlier and got the first. 2nd one just came back to check on its partner. Big mistake! Have had a spike on the oats for both coyote shots and hasn't left. Now a good 8 just steppes out from where the last yote came from.

Those yotes had no "Clu"  Sorry, was too easy  Is a great morning to be out, light southerly winds.

Hunted this morning, saw a couple of small bucks and a lone doe.
Slowest season in at least 20 years.
