So this last weekend, Me, my Dad, And a life long friend went on an un-guided javelina hunt through West Texas Hunt Organization. This was all of our first time hunting these peccaries and our first time hunting the Davis Mountains. Not sure if Im using mother nature as an excuse, but between a full moon, sand storm, and a cold front we walked away empty handed. While it is easy to be disappointed with a bowl full of tag soup I can't say that in any way we were dis hearted by the final results. What I learned about javelina and their habits within the last two days has been priceless, not to mention my dad and life long friend there to experience it with me.Some may judge sucess in punched tags but there is more to a sucessfull hunting trip than that. What I can say for certain is we will be back to chase the collard peccary again. What I can also say is Mike runs a top notch business. I can't say enough of how impressed I am on how he conducts his outfitting service. Long story short, I recomend Mike and his operation! I will return to the Davis mountains next year with high hopes of bagging my first javelina!

That is great. There are many fine Outfitters on here that I have never heard complaints about and Mike is one of them. Glad you had an enjoyable hunt.
