Hasn't been to my place since weekend after a thanksgiving and deer were barely touching corn. Came back today and every on demand feeder was empty. Plus all my feels with timers were empty underneath. I'm just outside Gatesville. Anyone notice deer hitting their feeders now pretty hard ? Oh and had 500 plus pounds in one demand feeder and around 400 in the other. So quiet a bit was eaten in 3 weeks when previously nothing had been touching them. Just curious if others having same experience.

I had one of my Protein Feeders go dry in one week. However, it's visited regularly by big bucks which only come out in late evening(dark) or early morning. --- non shooting hours.

If you have corn piling up you must have no deer. And I am not being sarcastic.

Maybe that is the problem. All bucks and no does. If you don't have does this time of year you probably won't have the bucks. Who ever has the does around your area probably has the bucks you were feeding earlier.

Acorns still falling here, afraid it won't pick up until right at the end of extended doe/spike season.

Same here too in central tx, acorns are finally all gone or not edible now, some now deer are having to forage now for food,
and fawns are getting bigger, ones around the house here are now growing nubs and getting more wiley.
Taggd a doe last weekend first time ive seen more than 8 deer around the feeder..... glad PW have alter restrictions in effect here,
seeing some nice junior bucks hopefully some will make it in few years. Pasted 2 7's and one 8 point almost, but let them slide.
We feed year around here on farm maybe i will see some good of it some day......

hunt safe all....
