Very poor quality. I just bought these 5-6 weeks ago. I will load a picture when I get home later or will see if I have one already posted somewhere.

We are running moultries right now. They are going on 4 years old, out in south texas 365 days a year. Good battery life and good pictures. Not sure what we will replace them with when needed, they don't make the ones we have anymore.

This is a very interesting string...as TLK said, we are talking Fords & Chevy's... And sometimes a F-150 is a great truck and sometimes you get a lemon. My camera's work great and are out in the baking hot sun 365 a year. I take over 2,000 photos on average a week from each one. I change batteries out when it says 25% or less battery life left. That's about 3 weeks or 6,000 photo's. The one camera I have at a tank takes about 250 photos a week. The batteries last many months on that one. I use Browning HD. Since I have already posted on this string and shown a photo, I will only say that I am happy with them, but as important as the camera's are, the place you buy them is just as important. I get mine at http://www.trailcampro.com and they stand behind them no matter which one you decide is best for you.

We have been running Moultrie's. They can be found regularly at Academy for around $50. I also have ran a couple of Stealth cams. One of the stealth cams failed on me so I replaced with a Moultrie.

Kinda surprised noone has mentioned a Spypoint product yet.
I bought 5 of them 4.5 years ago (IR-5's), and they have been going strong. Battery life is one of the best on the market, but picture quality can be blurry at times, even some blank photos. That being said I still would argue they are great cameras. Since I can't find them anymore, I just purchased some Spypoint Force-10's a few weeks back, have no update on them yet as I havent had a chance to pull the cards yet.

For the convenience I like the Covert trail cams that are cellular. There are some other brands that do take some better pics, but I hate going to an area to pull cards and having to wait. Plus knowing if there is something on the way to my stand in the dark, early morning suck as that buck I'm looking for, I get an alert within two minutes of it and I don't spook the game or I can find another route to my stand without spoiling the game on the way.

For quality, price and ease, Stealthcam, all i buy. Expensive Moultries is what my unvle buys, no issues unless left in sun. Expensive. Ive tried lower priced Moultries and Bushnell, never again. Bushnell was worst for me. Dad and brother use WGI, dad not being tech savvy, been alright for him.

I have had expensive ones crap out on me, cheap ones that last years. Recently bought 3 of the cheap WGI and they are good so far. So the answer is clear as mud.

It would be hard to find someone who has bought and used more trailcams than me in the past 5 years. With two properties and sometimes 10 cams on one property, and a pile of 20+ dead ones - I've had lots of experience.
Here is my expert comments:
They are all great and they are all crap. I've bought 2-3 of the same type and had 1 last for years and the others fail in 2 weeks. All brands and all price levels will fail. None are designed to last more than a few years at best. Expect to buy a new one at least every year. Treat them as disposable and buy then according to your budget.
Some general rule of thumb:
The more LED's the better night distance and pics. Glow IR's will give better night pics than blackout IR's. High MP are great if you to zoom in pics, but in reality a 6MP will give you plenty of detail to identify animals. You'll be happier with two $80 cams pointed at a feeder than a single $160 cam. There are lots of reasons for this. Fast trigger/shutter speeds are the way to go if you are scouting a trail, but not needed for a feeder. A cheap cam placed well away from target area, set in plot-watch mode to cover a big area will yield all sorts of interesting stuff. From poachers to animals that never come to feeders
