Yup. Had that happen. 2 large hogs were fighting and chasing each other when they bent the leg out some. The larger of the 2 realized what happed and pushed that leg completely out from under the feeder until it was on the ground. after rebuilding the feeder and staking the legs I had 2 bulls fighting and bent one leg in I had to remove leg and straighten it as best I could

We had one bad boar who learned to be a feeder wrecker as well. But, T-posts driven at an angle and wired to the feeder legs, and set bolts locking the legs to the brackets stopped all that nonsense.

I had the exact same thing. Now all my feeders have t-post and hasn't happened since.
I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.

I have my legs on plow disks, tied down with rebar thigh the hole in the plow. They would need to dig a bit to get under the disks.

I am not trying to start a whistling contest and have practically stopped making feeders. I know that for many cost is always an issue however the first two winch feeders I built were built out of 2.0" X 12' square tubing legs with a 3.0" head. That was more than ten years ago. They have been around cattle and lots of HAWGS the whole time. Neither one has ever been turned over or a leg bent. I am not going use the term never but had a customer tell me of one getting turned over. There are several brands out there and most offer pads that can be "Nailed" down. If you look into a winch feeder make sure it has a BRAKE winch and 14 ga. tubing. One of the nice things about them is they will practically last forever with just a little paint on the barrel, and generally the barrels are easy to change out if needed.
Good luck and hunting
