Just talk to some land owners and ranchers and tell'em what you are interested in. You would be shocked how many will let you. Just promise to pick up shells and clean up after yourself, so they know their land will be in the same shape as you found it. I don't know if there is a lot of hogs around WF but there are around Jacksboro.

Used to live in W.F. & worked out of Cryovac in Iowa Park just west of W.F. Used to hunt deer & hog for free over by south of Quannah. That was a long time ago and dunno if its still there & free. You can check it out while you're there. Go west on to Quannah then go south to the overpass past the Copper Breaks S.P. Don't go over the overpass... there are dirt roads on either side right before you cross over that will take you under to the Pease River bottoms. I usually head west from the overpass to hunt. Hope its still there & free & good luck.

Plenty of hogs, just hard to find a good place to hunt without paying $$$$. Kinda like everywhere. Very little public area in the immediate area but some within driving distance. Matador WMA is fairly close.

i'm at SAFB and have a few places to hunt, just ask land owners, you probably won't be able to hunt deer, but hogs and coyotes are easy to come by.
