I am on the hunt for a nice 60's model coupe for a project car for me and my son. My father and I did the same and it was time I truly valued growing up. All makes and models welcome and distance not a problem as I have time and a trailer. Would like to stick with 2 door coupes but 4 door cruisers are welcome as well. Thanks.

There's a guy on Abilene CL that has a '53 Ford coupe that runs and drives. Still has a flathead in it and I think it's $5500 OBO.

You don't get to be old by being stupid, but I made it to middle age!

Not a 60's but I have a 1985 Chevy single cab short bed. Owned it for 12 years. 350 with a 350 3 spd auto trans. Truck all there with all air conditioner components, jack, etc. Runs and drives but needs a make-over. Drive it home.... new inspection/registration and driven. Texas Title in my name. In need a lot of Dad and Son/Daughter TLC. $4,000 Near Rockdale Texas

Thanks for all the replies. I have sent pm's to several but still really looking for an older classic car that can take the family for weekend cruises instead of pickups.
