My future SIL was sworn in today to the Mt. Pleasant Police dept. As long as I have known him he has wanted to be a LEO. I have no doubt the gentle giant will do well.

Congrats Officer Albright

My son wanted to be an LEO since his freshman year in high school. He road out with them for years, memorized all the streets in our hometown while he was in high school. He has now been one for around ten years and is a sarge for patrol. He lives and breaths it everyday and still loves it. What a great calling and congrats to your SIL and you - great to see quality folks coming into this service

Congrats to your son and best of luck to him. Father has been an officer for 36 years and is just finally getting ready to retire.

Congrats. I've done it for 13 years and it gets harder each year. Hope he does well. Take my advice, be a fire fighter. Everybody loves fire fighters and they can sleep on duty.

Been at it for 10 years, his first year will be the best and it's all down hill from there. If he loses the love for the job he needs to get out. Couldn't imagine working for a small department like Mt. Pleasant, I like having close cover. Tell him congrats and to watch his 6
