How many of yall are still out looking for spikes and does? I have a spike I'm looking for and bringing my nephew out this weekend in hopes we can find his first buck.

I plan on shooting at least 2 more doe. Just need to find the day I am ready to mess with cleaning them.

I haven't seen a single spike this season, looks like all of our 1 year olds have split brows and some are even 6 points. Should be a good next few years. Unfortunately the does have gone nocturnal

I wish I had the opportunity to be able to still hunt for one since I got nothing during the season but dang east Texas cuts us off early

We have two more weeks of general season left and will be gunning for a few spikes/does as well as other bucks.

I harvested one mature 8 pt buck and a nice mature doe during the general season. My wife and I have found that we consume at least 3 deer, each season, so I'll be back out there this weekend trying to take another doe. I haven't seen a single spike on camera or in person yet this season.

Trying to talk my Pops into going after a couple doe this weekend. Will depend on how he feels. Still have one more shot after this weekend.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

I've got to go get at least 2 more doe to tie the kid....not going to let him out shoot me.
He's up 4 - 2, and we are tied at 1 on the turkeys. All does and all killed with bows.

I needed one more for homemade sausage, doesn't matter doe or spike, but my eldest niece got her first deer (doe) Saturday so that might do it. Her younger sister also got her first deer (doe) on November 22nd. Might guide a veteran this weekend if I can replace my truck that got totaled at Thanksgiving.

I finally got a doe today! First deer of the season for me. What makes it even better is that it was my first bow kill. I'm happy.

Been pondering taking a doe but right now I'm gonna pass, I think. I've got two in the freezer already but really want some more sausage. I just don't see how I'm going to get out there in the next two weeks.
