You have a good job and make a good living, but you work your tail off.

Most of your free time comes in short spurts throughout a long day at work, and you rarely have whole days off- forget a weekend.

So you end up buying whatever tickles your fancy that might increase your odds. Some of it is just nice stuff that you like, and that's the only reason you bought it- not even because it might help.

That is cool man, you worked your butt off and it's paying off, you got the money and you can spend it how you like. If you wanna build a custom rifle, or rock a yeti and a 4x4 that rarely goes offroad, or hunt a high fence ranch loaded with record breaking bucks or exotics... well, that is capitalism at work and American as $!#€%. I'd rather that, than to see you a vegan driving a hybrid and protesting against hunting or gun ownership.

cheers

What's wrong with a hybrid? grin

I get 42 mpg in that bad boy banana

I can make it to the ranch and back for like $10. If I need to haul stuff, I drive the truck

And I have a .308 bolt

You are not alone, but at least we aren't like some of those rhinestone cowboys out there.
I drove my 12 y.o. VW Passat with over 200k on it out to FiremanJG's range for my class. Love that car, paid for itself time and again. Don't wear the ostrich boots as they don't fit anymore, but my workboots fit just fine!

I went hunting one year in my Mercedes C240. Threw the buck I shot in the trunk for the trip to the processor.

I live in Frisco,
-drive a F250 4x4 (but it gets dirty)
- have a 308
- have a Yeti coozy ( I like cold beer and apologize for nothing)
- have a Brute cooler and a Pelican
- I have a lease near Abilene but drove to Montana last year for a guided hunt
- and I hunt with a heater in my blind when it's cold.

I don't care if y'all make fun. I'm happy and it's all I care about.

Yep, with snares though. The yotes in my area don't come to calls. But snares work great with the HF grin
I even started making my own

One of the Project Managers I work with is around 50 and he wears those jeans, I make fun of him all the time for it. I asked him once if he accidently put his wifes panties on with her jeans!

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.
