I am not of any help but am very interested in hearing any reports as well. I was considering making the 8hr drive given the good year for quail but have never been to any of the areas and have never hunted blues before either. Maybe next year.

I'm west of BB State Park, had a great hatch, large coveys, but the numbers are down a little since the cold weather started.

Sounds good maybe I'll go down there in a few days just to see how it is. I'm assuming the rain from last spring probably helped the hatcheries.

Went down to black gap wma and hunted for two days. Hunting was the best I have ever seen. Blues were everywhere and weren't that hard to get them off the ground.

Yep. We seldom get follow up reports.
Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill
