So I am seriously considering saving up my pennies for one.
My primary motive is speed. I think i am approaching a phase in my life where time will be really valuable so cutting down reloading time will be beneficial.
Is there any solution that is as fast without require human interaction?
I know some people use multiple RCBS, but mine so far has a decent percent of overthrows. I ordered a higher resolution scale to test how good my RCBS is actually doing.
Thoughts?

Try a RCBS Chargemaster, throw 0.1 gr low and then finish it with an Omega Trickler and a new Redding beam. The Omega is automatic and trickles to the single kernal. The Redding beam is sensitive enough to register to the single kernal. Very accurate, very fast, and a fraction of the cost of a Prometheus Gen 2. http://www.omegapowdertrickler.comThe combo turns out loads as fast as I can pour it in the case and seat a bullet.

If you can swing it you won't regret it. But they're about a 6 month wait and pushing 4,000$
I run dial rcbs chargemasters and check weight on an fx120i
I can get about 180 rounds an hour weighed and measured to .02 of a grain.
I then seat them all the bullets.
The promethius will do about the same number per hour but you'll have time to seat bullets during that same amount of time.

Nothing is as fast and accurate as the Prometheus. I was running two chargemasters that were reprogrammed, and with the straw trick, and they were fast with very little overthrow. When I weighed them on my gempro, however, i was +/- .02 across the board. Not a huge deal, but I wasn't happy with it.
When I got my prometheus, my ES/SD's went way down, and my time spent at the press went down even further. I can knock out 100+ rounds an hour, with ease, assuming my brass is prepped. If I could swing it, I'd buy another one as back up, just in case. They are THAT good.

I will know next week I know I don't need the precision, it's the time factor that is huge to me. At this point I honestly think I am just trying to justify it to myself

I've been double checking my charged with the fx120i which is a lab grade scale accurate to .02gn which is a kernel of powder.
Most charges are +- 3/10s of a grain. But everyonce in a while it'll lie and throw one a grain or more off and say it's correct.
