Two for the freezer. Starting to get the hang for video. Lighted knocks help too, especially the green ones.

Cool videos. Crazy how quick their reaction time is.

I completely agree with you. Both of those deer are 20 and 21 yards away. I'm shooting a good, high end bow at 300 FPS +...and they still seem to drop significantly before the arrow gets there. I also must say that Does are MUCH worse than Bucks. For some reason, the bucks don't seem to get the drop nearly as much as those wiley old Does.

The second one was real high. How far did she go?

Passthru - Yes, very high, way too high. I aimed bottom 1/3rd behind the shoulder and the combination of her being a few yards closer than I measured, I was sitting a bit elevated, my arrow hitting higher than my aim point, AND her dropping all added up to a very high hit. I backed out quietly and went back an hour later and she was dead 60 yards from where I shot her. Hit the top of the backside lung. Not a drop of blood found anywhere until where she laid.

Awesome videos! That is insane that she drops that much. So should you sim lower and expect them to drop like that? It's a good 8 to 10 inches it looks like.

When elevated, I typically aim at the point where the arrow will exit (opposite side) about one inch above the chest bone. Not sure why I didn't do that in this case, my mistake, and it cost me a high hit. Still recovered her, but not proud of the shot at all.
