Can somebody help me out on finding one and/or the ring that will allow one for my wife's gun? The front cap doesn't have the sling hooker thingy and the butt stock just has a mysterious smooth hole where it's sling holder thingy goes. I'm scared of what may happen if I don't solve this issue soon...

Make sure she practices shooting with a sling once you get this all sorted out

I drilled a hole in my sons 870 and bought a sling hooker thingy that fits inside and swivels.

brownells has schematic for them. I got the one for the stock of mine at cabelas, it's a quick attach

It should have come with a sling attachment that goes under the fore end cap

I bought the forend cap from Beretta for my Extrema 2 and it didn't snug up tight. I then purchased the sling attatchemnt that goes between the end cap and it works okay at best. For the rear, I drilled and screwed in the sling swivel which lasted a year before coming loose and striping the stock. It now has a slip on sling that goes over the barrel and buttstock for transporting only

Why would you have to drill the stock? It comes with a built in quick attach point.
