Who's chasing them in the southwest portion of our great state? I'm leaving as early as I can stand it Friday morning. Picking up a church friend that wants to just be out there and volunteered to cook for another friend and I while we hunt, so I am livin' large. Other friend has the menu worked out.
'Just have to remember to drink in moderation on Thanksgiving. No easy task, given my wife's family. She cooks the whole shebang, so I'm not complaining.

I am leaving Thanksgiving morning to head out to Western Pecos County. Suppose to be a chance of rain here thru Sunday and will drive thru rain probably heading out there. Supposed to be some colder weather on the weekend. We need a freeze to knock the leaves of the brush and push the deer out of the thick draw bottom on the hillsides. Going to be a fun season. I plan on staying till I kill or the last day at sunset. We will have a full group of 8 by Friday or Saturday. Most will start hunting Friday morning. Can't wait, since I love glassing and hunting for Mule Deer.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

I'll be out Saturday morning. Looks like we might get snow here Saturday night. Agree with Stx should be a fun season. Gonna be a blast working those hills. That said, biggest mule deer I've ever seen was standing in my front yard yesterday morning. Too dark for a pic but he was a bruiser
