Does anyone have experience with this product? I was told they are great but didnt want to pay the 300 something dollars compared to buying some new warm bowhunting clothes. Thanks in advance!

As long as your primarily a stationary hunter, yes, they work great. Just like a big old quilt wrapped around you. They are kind of bulky and something extra to carry, so there's that, but if you're in a big enough tree stand, blind, high rack, etc... and sitting in one spot it's well worth the $$$ when it's cold. I used mine more when I bow hunted as you can pop out of it to shoot versus having to wear a ton of clothes, just be careful putting it on in a tree stand, especially a hanging tree stand. I don't mind the more bulky coats and overalls when rifle hunting. Oh yeah, if you have a younger kid, you will have to buy him/her one too or just plan on giving it up.

Buy a camo mummy bag. Same difference. They are warm.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.
