Ended 1 bird short of a two man limit Saturday, but the banded mallard made up for it

Hunted solo today and had quite the variety...

Why the blur in the background?

You can run but you can't hide...

People do that when they have to brag online about something but are afraid people will recognize the background and steal their spot. Seems like it would be easier just not to post anything if you are that worried about it. I guess I could understand it if you were a guide and had to advertise on forums like this.

Well that was a bit harsh...

Congrats on the band and limit! Sounds like a more productive weekend than mine sitting in the deer stand

I blur the background so that yes, I don't get a flood of barnies(topwaters) on the lakes I hunt. We don't all get to hunt on our girlfriends dad's places in Oklahoma or east Texas or south Texas or Africa or Chama.

That's just mean. Barney is offended by your actions.

Or because he wanted to share a good hunt with a band, and didn't want to advertise his spot? Nothing wrong with that.

Wow, you sure do know a lot about me. Kind of weird actually. There is nothing wrong with bragging but for me personally, blurring out the background of a picture is a little over the top. Fishing or hunting. Keep it up though, I laugh every time I see someone who does it.

To each their own, just seems a little silly to me.

Much better! I think I've hunted that spot before.

I think what we have here is a simple miscommunication, I think John Paul just answered a question and for whatever reason dfwguy (maybe he and his wife were in a fight) read into the statement to much and assumed it was meant in a negative way. Once that negative snowball started rolling it gained mass and speed while others jumped on board.

by the way, is that the only hen you shot that day? way to ruin a good drake strap up
