Hunted Noodle area last weekend. Not sign of the rut yet... lots of does, no mature bucks seen. Dove everywhere!
Any other updates out there?

I've heard of some chasing and some not. I think it's more of the bucks wanting to rut, but I still think it's early. What part of the Noodle area are you in? And yes, the dove are out of control. They'll wipe out a feeder in 10 minutes.

Still pretty slow with all the acorns out in the shinnery... We are seeing a lot of nice bucks this year but trying to let them walk so they can hit that 150-160 range. Not much sign of rut yet. Hope it isn't as sporadic of a rut as last year.

Hunting south of Noodle seeing young bucks and a few does. No signs of the rut yet.

Heading to Noodle this weekend, we'll see what happens. I heard a big storm blew thru there. Hope my deer blind still exists.

Longgunner did y'all make it back out this weekend? Like to know if anybody is seeing any signs of the rut beginning. The rain kept us home!
