great buck
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

Oklahoma seems to be a well kept secret. Due to short season and high out of state license cost some folks don't venture that way. Buddy of mine bought a lifetime license years ago when he lived there and now leases at nearly half the cost what we find in Tejas. His hunting season is shorter, but still spends about the same amount of time in the field as he would in Texas. And his drive is only about 3 hours from north DFW. Beautiful country to boot. Gotta try that one year.

Oklahoma is the last inexpensive place to buy good hunting properties, only problem is its difficult to get neighbors to practice deer management. So many deer, see 15 to 20 every night and once had 28 does and 8 bucks.. need to cull 8=10 does every year. okiehuntr
