How many guys use them? I use mine here if I need it. I'm not sure if it will keep deer from coming in because of the scent. What do y'all think?

I think it's a 100 times better than off. Also I've never seen a deer smell it and run.

I agree about the off. I know that OFF is very bad for the finishes of camo guns.

I once had an East Texas deer lease. It saved me a gallon of blood per day. I love it and use the heck out of it.
If you ever get to the point that you think it isn't working, then just turn it off. You'll know in short order just how good it really is.

I bought one last week and used it saturday morning. It ran off the B&C size mosquitoes we have at the lease. Had a doe walk up from down wind to 20 yards, turn and go to the feeder. She didn't seem too bothered by it.

Love mine too.
But honestly, the weather was so bad Saturday where I was hunting that even mosquitos were bedded down.

yeah my last lease had crap tons of mosquitoes, would not have been able to deal with it without the thermocell. Never noticed it bothering the deer and I was in a treestand.
Adult late onset hunter. Why did I wait so long to get started?

The thermocell was a gift from god. Last night cleaning my deer they were everywhere. So I clipped it to the deers ear and went to down. Was nice to take my clothes off and clean the deer mosquito bite free.
Hunting in magnolia would be better in a gated community.

One of the best pieces of equipment for hunting. I travel with two just in case one malfunctions.

Where I am at during bow season unless early morning it is a must. It doesn't matter if they are coming from down wind because in that instance they are going to smell you 9 times out of 10 regardless.

The thermocell earned it's keep the last two days. Went to the lease Tuesday, stayed till this morning. You could not sit anywhere without the thermocell on. That's the most mosquitoes I've ever witnessed.

I agree with all the positive comments. Been using one for years and have had deer all around me with no indication of detection or influence. But mosquitoes absolutely HATE the smell and stay away. Few things in life work as well at the intended purpose as these do.

They work, most of the times. Had a lease last year in East Texas and hunted along a creek. The mosquitoes were so big and thick that they would form a wall and attack the stand. They laughed in the face of the thermocell.

They laughed in the face of the thermocell. Never seen that before. And I've hunted along the Angelina and tributaries plenty.

Mine has worked every time. Even on the Texas coastal marshes and beaches.
I don't leave the truck without one.

Do I know you from somewhere? Haha. Thermocell and Yeti tumblers are two things I'll tell people are worth their weight in gold!
