on the way back home I stopped at Underwoods cafeteria, was okay, meats were good, sides not, deserts..good

Wife and I love the place but must agree that sides are sometimes flat in taste but it is still a must stop for us when travelling to West Texas.

I agree their sides are standard buffet fair, but I'm not there for the sides. Beefsteak, lots of sauce, onions, maybe some pickles, rolls, and cobbler. I usually get green beans and red beans for my sides, sometimes corn and/or mashed and gravy.
