 Ahhhhhhh opening day

I missed this morning because my son had a football game at 1030, no problem I will hunt tonight. Well the rain canx the game this morning and they moved it into 230 and now I am going to miss tonight. Girlfriend saw a few doe this morning. We did see a nice buck on one of our cams the last few nights but he isn't coming up to the feeder. May have to sit the ground tomorrow.

It really is. As much as I have deer fever the military makes me miss too many kids activities so I have to take advantage when I can.

It really is. As much as I have deer fever the military makes me miss too many kids activities that I have to take advantage when I can. And that happens too.

jsplinter, if you hunt anywhere around CC, you didn't miss much. Had one doe under feeder, other hunter same. And I just came from the blind and nada this evening!!

We hunted our new land we got last weekend. My girlfriend sat the blind today since I couldn't and she saw 7 doe but couldn't get a shot. We have one really nice buck on cam but never at the cam around the feeder.
