I was wondering if anyone on the board has strayed over to New Mexico recently. Last year was pretty decent on BLM land and I am anxious to find out what this year has in store. Could be outstanding, I hope. Thanks

I hunted Tucumcari for antelope every year for about seven years now and the last two years I've seen more quail than previous. Last year there were a ton of birds but not a lot of cover and getting them to slow down was hard but this year the grass is tall and cover is thick we walked up and spooked several covies underfoot stalking antelope.

Thanks for the reply. I am pretty excited to hear that. Seems like I have seen more antelope too this year driving back and forth on I-40.
