So I went to the lease to make sure everything was running properly and my blind hadn't blown away. Got in about 630 feeder doesn't go off till 8 since it's already set for daylight savings but that didn't stop the deer from.moving at first light. Had 14 different deer including this nice 8. What yall think of him?

Nice looking middle-aged buck. Going to be a good year so I would probably wait for a bit to see what shows up.

Yeah I want to wait but we are in a buck only county so a Lil worried he won't be around long. What's your guess on age? Wish his brow tines had some size. He would be my biggest buck if I decide to take him. He's a corn hound right now. He was all over the feeder before it went off.

He is middle-aged, 3 or 4 tops. He is a nice buck and if you like him, kill him. I am in a one buck county also and with all the rain this year, I am in no hurry till I see a buck that I really like. If I don't see one or pass some up, that is hunting for me. I am fine with killing does and spikes.

Can't kill does that's the big issue. I've always been a spike and doe guy when in mills and on my uncles place north of SA. I do like him but I have to say I'm curious what will go on the rest of the season and if I pass can things get better. Also deer season would be pretty mucheap done and Idk if I want that either lol.

You should be able to kill does during Archery season with archery equipment, just check your regs.

Yes we can but didn't have the money to invest in archery stuff as the oilfield took a dump lol.

Well just a Lil update Sunday AM my buddy took a peak at my feeder aND said he saw him and a bigger buck chowing down. He said they may be twins or a year part but sure look good to him. I guess I will find out Saturday afternoon.
