Just a quick question. Yesterday we couldn't get the birds to decoy well, and we had passing shots mostly on the left side of the blind. I happened to be the lucky sap sitting on the far left and did the majority of the killing. Felt kind of guilty getting the vast majority of the shooting and offered to switch spots with the other fellows, but they declined. I didn't exactly beg them to switch, but did offer.

This is the first year I'm hunting in a group of guys and wanted to check to see how any of you approach this sort of situation in your group.

Curious about your thoughts.

You offered up, I think that's fair enough.

Tell them to switch with me after I get a couple. Most people won't trade out of humbleness if merely asked. I've put down my gun before when I've been the only one killing so the others could at least catch up.

You just got the better spot that day. It's to your credit that you offered. The definition of good etiquette in my opinion.

Take turns or limit out and swap.

Have had this happen with my gf. We traded sides and they quit going to that side. She must smell funny.
