Wigeon was awesome, by far my best one to date. Best opening day I've ever had. Best coastal limit I've ever had as well, only one diver. The wigeons were out in full force by the thousands.

Nice bag!! We only saw a handful of groups flying around here just north of freeport. Some crazy weather going on.

Did you cover the canoe at all? Might not need to with all that grass in it lol

Well rain washed out the road I was planning on launching at, so I had to go to a public ramp, I found what looked like a island of mangroves on Google map, when I got there in the dark it was a flooded grass island with absolutely no cover at all anywhere. I literally filled the entire canoe from front to back with grass to cover it because I had no other choice. I hate going in places without seeing them in the daylight but I really had no choice. This time it worked in my favor though.

And speaking of palms, wal gave me and idea with his thread earlier so I drove around town until I found some in front of someones house. Sticks out like a sore thumb but that's really the only option
