I've had it. We grew up poor. I trapped to make money for things like ball gloves, wrestling shoes, school clothes etc. Made the mistake of letting mom see me skin one and she decided we could eat it. After all, meat is meat and man has to eat. I skinned the rest of them when she wasn't home or in the field. I even had a place set up in the wood shed of my uncle's cabin for bad weather times. Greasy and tough.
