What's the purpose of changing hunting from a privilege to right?
Is it just fear of future anti-hunting influence?
Are there any unintended consequences? Like poachers hunting "rights" can't be revoked?

Any right, including constitutionally bestowed and the right to live can be revoked if you break the law.

What it's doing is making it damn near impossible for the yahoos moving here from California to make enough noise to outlaw hunting.
