Ever use them?

Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

I'm using mine in the house on the lowest setting and only when he consistently will not listen to me (right now counter surfing is the new fad) but even then I hate using it cause I want him to associate the collar with bird finding time!!

I have been known to bring the hearing aid in on occasion. +1... when all else fails, sometimes you need a bigger hammer!

Mine wears his inside, but I very rarely have to buzz him.

Most of the time I just used a spray bottle with water in it.
Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden. Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

Is it ok to leave the collar on the dog all the time? Do the prongs rub or cause a sore at the point of contact?

I think I read somewhere not to leave it on more than 8 hours in a 24 hour period. Not 100% sure.

No, don't leave it on them all the time. Yes, it will cause a sore. Don't get me wrong, my dogs don't hunt without one, but you try one on yourself for 24 hrs or more, see what you think.
