Has anyone hunted the tawak wmas and had any luck? Do they hold good deer? Thanks in advance.

2cents Haven't done the archery deer hunts... Been their several times for hog hunts.. Seen few deer tracks, found some scrapes & rubs, seen doe or two... Some area's can be thick, have ta turn around & find easier place ta go threw, & i've been threw some thick stuff.. flag

I took a spike there 2 years ago. I have seen some big deer there.

I have seen several nice sized deer there. My old hunting buddy lives across cove from it.

I scouted there a few years back. They had fire cut an area around the lake. I checked several areas and didn't see much but have been told there are some bruisers running around over there. But I never seen so much thick stuff. If I tried to get out of the clear cut area it was so thick I couldn't walk through it.
