This guy was on the sidewalk in front of the house. For a size reference, that leaf is approximately 2.5" long. What the heck kind of spider is that??

That's where I got over my fear of spiders. There are some big nasty looking ones on boats and docks, ecspecially when they develope their sacks. Mostly worked at night, when they came out of hiding, I would have spiders on me when I walked into the restaurant eat and people would step away quickly.
