So this guy showed up for the first time early Sat morning. My first thought was someone strapped antler to a cow and stuck him in my feeder pen. Any estimates on age and weight? I've never encountered anything quite like him before.

Post mature. Can't guess weight without knowing region/body size of animals.

Post mature for that area. Weight will fool you from TC pics. Short squatty bucks look huge bodied but never weigh as much as a long bodied buck IME. I miss weight guesses so bad I try not to guess anymore.

Congratulations on having a buck on your property that is that age. Most bucks in a low fence area don't have a chance to mature like this one has. I'm guessing between 7-8 and definitely a shooter. couldn't guess the weight but I bet he will taste good either way

I feel your pain... in fact the more I look at this old guy the more I think he and I are kindred spirits. Old, fat, and past our prime.
