I've had mine for 6 or 7 years now. Love it. I tied on a paracord wrist sling.

Just depends what kind of release you like, most prefer a wrist release and then there are those like me that prefer thumb release. Most over fifty bucks are good releases. Scott, Carter, Tru-Fire.. Tons on the market.

Lets see what I have...thumb release you gave me, a nice wrist release( paid$60-70) I have for backup and the one I shoot 99% of time my original Patriot Jr.(whooping $15) I have been shooting since you met me! I'm cheap but thing keeps working.

Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock!

Well if you ever get tired of that Stanislawski I won’t let it collet dust, the Genesis Mag X to me is the finest release aid in the world. That one I gave you and mine were made for me by Ken Stanislawski. This is like ours except that Ken put the thumb bar on them.

Thumb and back tensions are not for everyone; I’m just different. and I know you know that! trout

Carter Releases are going to be among the best you can get, I see them pop up used for under 100 from time to time.

I shoot the Tru Fire hardcore max release. Its a little more than $100 but its a goot one. I switched to it from a Scott Mongoose. The mongoose is a great release but it hurt my hand wrist. Everyoen else I hunt with shoots a Scott.

I shoot a Scott hex and love it's very adjustable, they're normally 150 but if you look around you can find them on sale I know a couple of weeks ago midway had really good deals on them.
