Considering purchasing a piece of property in NW Fisher county (Rotan area). It's got some very good dove hunting on it. Just curious if people would be interested in leasing it for dove season at say $250-$300/gun? Is that a fair price? Are most people willing to drive a fair distance for a quality dove lease? Any other insight would be appreciated.

Just trying to get an idea of potential additional income to help offset the cost of the property.

I pay 250 now and the drive is about 40 minutes. Close enough to go after work and meet a couple friends. Much further and I wouldn't be able to get there enough to justify the cost. Just my opinion, I am sure others travel much further.

Are you planning on doing anything to the fields like plant sunflowers? Most of my guys come out of DFW, pretty good haul to Rotan.
How many acres of fields do you have, how many hunters are you thinking?

It would be tough to find anyone to lease it unless you can find someone local that is looking. There are lots of dove leases available, so most are looking for something much closer to the major cities. Quality dove leases are no nearly as hard to find as a good duck or deer lease.
