I've used the block and deer seem to like it. I'm sure they'll eat the b&j but it's a little pricey for my taste so I haven't tried it.

Big and j is overly priced. For 6$ you can by a 50 lb bag of rice bran that works just as well.

I've been buying those record rack deer blocks from tractor supply. The deer on my lease tear those things up! They can completely devour a block in just a few days. They really seem to enjoy them. Just bought a Big and J yesterday only because they were out of the deer block.

Well I'm ready to give them a try, I've had the camera up close to a month and I've had nothing showing up yet to my feeder. I know it's been pretty warm but I'm getting a little worried.

Pour it on the ground 100 yards from your feeder and put a camera on it. How long have you had the feeder set up?

My deer like those record rock blocks but so do the hogs.

Feeders been up for a month now, I've seen one doe so far. Had plenty of deer in the area last year, but this is a different spot on the property from last year maybe 1000 yards away. Added a water trough a few weeks ago to see if that would help but nothing so far, just a raccoon party every night.

Feeder and water trough in a new location may have them a little weary if they aren't use to them. Give it a little time. If they were around last year they're still in the area this year. Try pouring a bag of corn on the ground 100-200 yards from the feeder and put a camera on it.
