I am in need of some timers, not the whole control unit though. Just need a reliable timer to hook up to the motor and solar. Blade connections and no alligator clips. Buddy bought a few cheap WildGame Innovations timers that are basically worthless. They go into sleep mode and never awake. Batteries are fully charged by solar. Tired of messing with these. Have looked online and really not found anything that is plug and play. Any suggestions just for the timer? Every week now for 3 weeks I have had to reprogram these cheap timers and they work for one day, then caput! Have looked at all the major outlets and I can't find just a good reliable digital timer. You either get the whole feeder control unit or nothing. HELP BRETHREN,

I ran through a few timers of various makes, then got frustrated and asked on this forum what to buy. The Timer was suggested. I got one. Terrific, and user friendly.

Another vote for "The Timer." Solid and reliable. They come with a little conversion harness so you can make it work with pretty much any motor setup.

Texas Hunter makes a good timer. Easy to use and reliable. I have several of them that are 5-10 years old with no problems.
