Looking for a used catchpole to buy. Setting traps for myself and my Daughter in PA. Not looking for any other catch. Want to release unharmed.

Sorry, should of mentioned I live in PA. We can only harvest one Bobcat. Wished we had Hogs here. I know I will be slammed for saying that.

If you are releasing Bobcats a catch pole is not a good option. It is possible / likely that after the release the cat will die. Get a small piece of plywood and cut a notch in the bottom big enough for the leg and make a handle on the back side. Place the plywood with notch over the leg of the Bobcat with the trap on your side.

What are you thinking grin
The truth be known; most hunters would miss having pigs to hunt, especially in the off season. But you can have too much of a good thing.

Are you catching bobcats in a live trap, Have-a-heart type?
