i went to pick up a new set of broadheads today and the guy behind the counter told me that Hartcraft is having some problems right now. Has anyone else heard of this? I have not really settled into a broadhead as all i have been doing is target shooting and getting used to my bow since last year. My second question is, the guy behind the counter suggested trying Toxic broadheads. They are very strange looking and i am wondering what people have thought of them as well. I do prefer fixed rather than mechanical broadheads. Thanks for any feedback!!!

I have Terry as a friend on Facebook and they have killed quite a few hogs with his board heads through the summer.

the guy i was talking to was saying that their blade quality had gone down and they were having a lot of bent or broken blades, that they seemed flimsier than before. I have been shooting them for the last year, and the only problems i have with them are that sometimes while target shooting a blade pulls out of the broadhead, but this has only happened to me maybe twice.

Sounds like he was trying to pimp you into another direction? Did he have any in stock?

when they first came out they had a couple issues with blade retention, but that has been addressed and corrected. their blades seem of good quality.
toxics on the other hand do work. ive killed a few animals with them just to try them out. they do require more energy to penetrate like a conventional fixed blade bh. they do make big holes like they claim. however, you cant resharpen them.
