I went to my property last 6 days ago and topped off the feeder and pulled the cards.
Still the same 2 doe and 2 fawn. I did have one spike that visited the feeder 2 nights but that's
It. This weekend I go out for opening archery season and I question any activity.
Being that this is my first year owning the property and that I put a feeder pen around my feeder in July
And all I have ever seen was 2 doe now fawn I wonder if the bucks are in a summer range or if I'm just not on the map with deer. Reminder I'm in Stephens county between eastland and breckenridge.

As of today my feeders are at 2 secs 2 times a day because anything more in the past corn was piling up.
should I raised it to make the spinning noise to possibly attract More? Or should I wait closer to rifle/rut and then raise it?

There is corn on the ground so it's not like there isn't food being offered. Perhaps after sitting in my tree stand for a weekend I will see more rather than going by a camera.

Sure hope once acorns are gone and the rut is on I see more.

Your last statement answered your question. Hunt the food source you will find the deer.

Too hot still and still abundant greenery around there Stephens. I've seen pics of your setup and it looks good to me. As we get closer to rut and things start to cool off, think you'll be seeing more.

I'm just looking forward to getting in my tree in the morning and enjoying a day away from madness

Hand feed some areas with corn and put a camera on them.

Do as strranchman said, I had fed
about 10 pounds of corn at a tank where we never had a feeder and put up a camera just to see what was coming into water. A week later, I got this photo. I'm in Eastland county, so just west of you a little bit.

Exactly, sometimes you have to hunt for deer.

That's what I'm used to !
I'm new to this feeder thing.
In the past i scouted then sat in a tree waiting.

I'm going to start off bow season in my tree stand then carry over into rifle season.
Rifle I plan to be in a box blind and may even move to one of my 2 tree blinds if no action with the box.
