I voted float, i've been surprised in the past how much a pontoon will keep up. looking forward to updates.

If I get a wind from the starboard side, which will be just about always because the port side if the shooting side then I have a solid wall exposed to the wind. Actually if the wind is hitting starboard or port I have 288 square feet acting as a sail. I have some relief if needed in the door and a window. I just figure if it is so windy I just won't go. I am not that angry at the birds I can't just stay at the condo and make breakfast for everybody. Can always cut some vents in it and install cattle panel from the inside. Size up to amount of drag you need to elevate. Not as weatherproof w camo material over panels- but will allow some of the wind to pass thru

We shall see greekangler. If I have to I will cut some vent holes I will do it later. For now I am,just trying to finish for the opener. I need two full work days and a few after work hours to finish. I never dreamed I would be racing the clock still working on this project. I am usually pretty fast with something like this. Not this time. I can see the end so maybe that's the motivation I need. A big problem is I have a bee shift at Work. When I get home there is only 30 minutes of daylight left. I try to get at least 1 or 2 little things done everyday.
