I'm going to put a new SS 3-9x42 on my 18" AR. Debating between using an ADM Recon, trying a Larue LT 104 or 158, or saving some coin and using an Aero Ultralight extended.

I don't really need QD, but it can be handy I guess. The only QD mount I have experience with is the ADM, It seems to work well.

I have a 1" Aero UL on another upper with a VX3 scope, it's nice but I know it isn't going to be quite as rugged as the others.

Suggestions please...

I've got the Burris P.E.P.R mounts on all my scoped AR's. No complaints but I also haven't used anything else.

I like larues a lot. You may consider getting a 10moa to give yourself some room
