I was riding around our deer lease on the ranger today looking for some real in our tanks when I came across some of these guys. I was really excited to find 3 in one day, u haven't seen one in over 5 years. Horny toads are not as common as they used to be.

I saw one on a lease road last spring a few weeks after I moved down here. Didn't think much of it & then found out they're really rare now. Wish I woulda pulled over & took a picture! Neat little critters

There are a lot of them at our ranch I figure it's because we have a bunch of big red ants.
