A 'mature' boar will not stay with any group very long. They are solitary for the most part and travel a lot.

Once any estrous Sows have been covered, they will move on. Not saying you won't ever see him again...but its always best to get on a boar as quickly as you can.

We have a monster boar that has been seen twice on our place. I have watched for him since the last time but have not seen him. Like flintknapper said, they travel a lot but I think they eventually come back around.
