I do a lot of hunts on APH land where motorized vehicles aren't allowed. For this morning's dove/rabbit hunt, I used my mountain bike to cover a lot of ground. I use a gun carrier designed for ATV handlebars for the .410.

Cool. Need some camo duct tape and you could lose your bike in the brush. Or use a flat black for a tac-ti-cool look.

I had a place in west Texas that had fairly flat roads so I tried the bike method a few times for a more silent entry vs. driving my UTV. It worked ok except for when the wind was blowing real hard and I realized how out of shape I was.

I have a similar setup, just older and painted camo. Solid foam tubes in the tires. Only thing is one of the public corps of engineers hunting areas I hunt does not allow it because a bicycle is within their definition of vehicle. realmad
